Pastor Logan Huff

Logan was born in the Augusta area and grew up in a Christian home. Although he cannot recall a specific moment in which he was converted, he was baptized at age 7 upon profession of faith. In 2010, Logan married Lauren Patrick, and they have since been blessed with three children: Molly (8), Thomas (6), and Andrew (4). As he was graduating from Augusta University with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, Logan began to discern an inward call to the ministry that was tested and confirmed externally by his local church. He went on to receive formal ministerial training at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.). Logan served previously as an associate pastor in a Baptist church in southern Indiana before accepting the invitation to become the pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Dearing, Georgia, where he has served since 2015. He is an associate member of the Southeastern Association of Confessional Baptists and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Theology (Th.M.) program at Southern Seminary, with research interest in historical theology. In his time off, Logan enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, birdwatching and powerlifting (but rarely birdwatching while powerlifting).
